- The authenticated Rider asks a trusted contact for permission to send one enrollment request.
- The Rider enters the contact in the gated app. The SMS permission control is separate, optional, and unchecked by default.
- The contact receives one enrollment text with a single-use seven-day link.
- The contact opens the link, signs in or creates an account, accepts the current Terms and Privacy Notice, and verifies the same phone number that received the invitation.
- The contact reviews the disclosures, checks a separate unchecked box, and submits it. Opening the link, signing in, or accepting legal documents alone does not enroll the recipient.
- The contact may reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. A previously enrolled contact may reply START to resume.
